Anker’s werDrive 2 car charger is small, affordable, available in two different colors. The red black scheme is $10, while the all-white version is $12.

Note: This review is part of our roundup of B car chargers. Go there for details on how we tested this device.

The werDrive 2 has two B ports an indicator light on the top of the charger. Each port is capable of putting out 5V/2.4A of power, for a total of 4.8A at any one time.

en connecting an ione XR to the werDrive 2, the car charger used the full 5V/2.4A output. th a xel 3 X Note 9 connected, the charger didn’t quite hit its max output but instead registered 5.1V/1.76A. Neither device registered as fast charging, but that’s expected since the werDrive 2 doesn’t support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge or wer Delivery.

I liked the slim profile of this design. It fits snuggly into the car charging outlet in my car doesn’t stick out too far. The indicator light at the top of the car charger lets you know when it has power is ready to begin charging your devices.

I don’t have a color preference, so to me, it makes the most sense to purchase the black red version save yourself a little money in the process.
