Android M could support native fingerprint authentication

Security is one of the most important parts of our mobile devices, and adding native fingerprint authentication could be a big boost to Android moving forward.

According to a report published by BuzzFeed, Android M, the next iteration of Google’s mobile operating system rumored to get announced at the end of May, that’s one new feature that Google will be adding. According to the report, this will make it possible for Android users to log into all of the support apps on their devices without a password.

Any additional information wasn’t provided in the initial report, however.
