Team Bitspin, the developers of Timely, a ridiculously beautiful app for Android has been acquired by Google. The app had been highlighted by Google on the Play Store quite a few times, and recently received a few awards from the Google Play team. 

The team has not really provided much information about their joining Google, except stating that they would continue doing what they love: “building great products that are delightful to use.”

This news should not affect the existing users of Timely in any way, and I expect the app to receive regular updates without any issues for sometime as well. As a bonus, all the IAPs in Timely have been made free as well.

The Bitspin team truly did an excellent job with Timely and their design skills would be an excellent addition to the Google.
