ZTE plans to launch an Android Wear-based smartwatch in the near future, and now the first look at what that could be has been revealed.

Thanks to VentureBeat, we’ve got a first look at the ZTE “Quartz.” Unfortunately the report doesn’t come along with a lot of details, but it’s been said in the past that the wearable will feature a cellular connection, and will function without being connected to a smartphone.

ZTE USA’s CEO has also said in the past that it already has a carrier in the United States to sell the watch at some point in the future, but when that will be remains to be known.
