Motorola has officially launched the Moto G4 Play in India, but for folks in the United States who have been waiting to get their hands on the new handset, the wait will go on for just a bit longer.

Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G4 Play will launch in the United States, unlocked, on Thursday, September 15. It will be fully compatible with all of the major wireless carriers in the United States. Motorola has priced the Moto G4 at $149.99, where it is available from its official website and Amazon. The handset is available to pre-order beginning September 6.

Amazon is also offering the Moto G4 Play with lock screen offers and ads, which means they are discounting the handset’s upfront cost to only $99.99 if you pick up that particular model.

The Moto G4 Play boasts a 5-inch 720p display, with a Snapdragon 410 chipset under the hood. This is paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. Other specs of the handset include an 8MP f/2.2 shooter with a LED flash, a 5MP selfie shooter, 2800mAh battery with Quick Charge support, a 10W bundled fast charger, GPS, Wi-Fi- b/g/n. and Bluetooth 4.1 LE.
