Late last month, LG unveiled its latest flagship handset for 2015 — the LG G4. While the handset retains the same design as its predecessor, it comes with some major upgrades in almost every department that makes the device stand out on its own against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9.
One such upgrade on the G4 is its 5.5-inch Quad HD ‘IPS Quantum Display’, which LG states is 20% brighter, 25% more color accurate and features 50% better contrast. Initial reviews of the handset suggest that the G4’s LCD screen is right up there with the Super AMOLED panel on the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge — which is considered as the best display in the smartphone market currently.
