An unofficial and super alpha build of Xposed framework for Android 5.1 has been released by a senior member of XDA forum.
Xposed framework for Android 5.0 Lollipop was released towards the middle of February to the delight of advanced Android users. When Google released Android 5.1 in March, Xposed framework developer — rovo89 — said that he will not be porting the framework to Android 5.1 anytime soon as he first wanted to make sure it was completely stable on Android 5.0. Google also made a lot of changes to ART in Android 5.1, which meant that porting the framework to the latest version of Lollipop once again required significant efforts as well.
Thankfully, XDA senior member romracer has made some underlying changes to Xposed framework that makes it compatible with Android 5.1. There are a few issues with the framework, but none of them are a deal breaker.
Keep in mind that this build of Xposed framework is only meant for Android 5.1, and is incompatible with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Some of the known issues with the framework are as follows:

Devices with very little free space on /system may have trouble installing. This installer has been tweaked slightly over the 5.0 installer. It will attempt to move your original libraries off /system, install the framework, compress the original libraries and then move the compressed originals back to the root of /system.

If Xposed for Android 5.0 didn’t work on your device, its unlikely this one will either. This is more or less the exact same source code, just an updated ART runtime. But feel free to try, just make sure you know how to backup and restore.
Keep in mind that since this is a super alpha build of Xposed framework for Android 5.1, you might run into some issues. Some of the modules that make deep system-level changes like GravityBox might also need to be updated for Android 5.1 before they play nicely with the latest version of Android.
