Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with 10.1-Inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 855 Launched at $650

Samsung’s Tab series is perhaps one of the very few premium tablets powered by Android. The company has now announced Galaxy Tab S6 which succeeds Tab S4. The Galaxy Tab S6 is designed as a 2-in-1 and is offered as a portable and thin tablet with powerful hardware. The device is 5.7mm thin and the light design adds a dash of premiumness.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 comes equipped with a 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display set at a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Powering the tablet is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Tab S6 offers a choice between 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Also present is a microSD card slot.

Camera options on the Galaxy Tab S6 include a dual rear camera setup that consists of 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f2.2 and a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f2.0. Front camera shapes up in the form of an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f2.0 aperture. Audio features on the Tab S6 include four speakers by AKG and Dolby Atmos technology. Backing the Galaxy Tab S6 is a 7040mAh battery. That apart the device also offers in-display fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9 Pie.

Samsung is offering a free Bluetooth enabled S-Pen which snaps magnetically to the tablet. Once attached to the tablet, the S-Pen is charged automatically. Meanwhile, the keyboard cover for the Tab S6 is being offered as an optional. As you might have already seen, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is a premium tablet armed with powerful hardware.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is priced at $650 for the 6GB/128GB variant, while the top of the line 8GB/256GB storage variant retails at $729. Furthermore, the keyboard cover will cost $180. Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will start on August 23 and the device will be available in-store or online channels on September 6.
