According to data collected by SamMobile, Samsung seems to have received almost 10 million pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge since the handsets went up for pre-order in the country on March 11.

Out of the eight channels through which the Galaxy S7 went up for pre-order in China, JD.com alone has received pre-orders for over 6.35 million units. This is followed by Suning having received pre-orders for 1.3 million units, with smaller retailers like Gome and Lynx already selling out of their pre-order inventory.

Combined, Samsung seems to have received pre-orders of over 10 million units for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. With pre-orders for the handset closing on March 18, Samsung is likely on track to receive almost 15 million pre-orders for the handsets.
