A few hours after a reported hinted at a potential Galaxy S10 unveiling on February 20, Samsung has gone ahead and confirmed the same via its official invite. The company will indeed be unveiling the Galaxy S10 and its foldable phone on February 20 at an Unpacked event in San Francisco.

The event will start from 11 a.m. PT on February 20 and just like always, Samsung will be live streaming the event for fanboys and interested customers to follow. The February 20th event date means Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S10 five days ahead of MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

While not mentioned in the event invite, Samsung is also expected to unveil its foldable phone at the event. Unlike the Galaxy S10, the foldable phone will see a limited release.

This will be the tenth anniversary of the Galaxy S series and so expectations are quite high. Rumors point to the company unveiling three variants of the Galaxy S10 this time around. The ‘lite’ variant will feature a 5.8-inch flat OLED display and lack an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will also only feature a single camera setup at the rear. The Galaxy S10 and S10+ will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, bigger Infinity-O punch-hole displays along with bigger batteries. The S10+ is also rumored to sport a triple camera setup at its rear.
