With just over two days left for Samsung to unveil the Galaxy S10 series, the floodgates have opened for the leaks to flow. Detailed specs of the handsets have already leaked and now thanks to @evleaks, we also know how much the high-end variant of the S10+ featuring 12GB RAM and 1TB storage will cost.

Apart from offering 6GB RAM/128GB storage on the base variant of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ and offering them with 256GB storage, Samsung will also be launching a high-end limited-edition variant of the Galaxy S10+ featuring 12GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Unlike the regular Galaxy S10 variants, this one will also feature a ceramic back. And similarly, it will have a price tag to match. As per the screenshot posted by @evleaks, the 12GB/1TB variant of the Galaxy S10+ will cost RMB 10,000. Converting into US$, that comes to roughly $1,500.

While that might seem a lot, that’s still relatively cheap when one compares it to the iPhone XS Max with 512GB storage which retails for $1,449 in the United States.

This variant is unlikely to launch outside of major markets due to its limited demand and high price tag. The 8GB RAM/512GB storage variant of the Galaxy S10+ carries a slightly lower price tag of RMB 9,000 ($1,330).

While these are Chinese prices of the Galaxy S10 and S10+, the US variants will likely carry a similar price tag as well. Remember that the pricing is for the limited-edition variants of the Galaxy S10+, with the regular versions of the handset carrying a price tag of anywhere between $750 to $999.
