OnePlus today posted a new community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 3 on their forums. The latest community build of OxygenOS — OxygenOS 3.5.5 — comes with a number of new features and UI enhancements.
The introduction of OnePlus FileDash functionality for quick and easy file transfers is probably the highlight of the update. Other major changes include a new phone UI that makes it easier to view your call log, custom ringtones for individual contacts, and more.
The full change-log of the update is as follows:
- Added OnePlus FileDash functionality for convenient file transfers
- Added ability to switch launcher layouts
- Integration of Google Map to share locational information in messages.
- Redesign of the phone calling UI
- Added personalized ringtone information in contact details
- Added ability to view the entire call history of the selected contact

- General bug fixes
If you are already running OxygenOS community build on your OnePlus 3, you will automatically get the OxygenOS 3.5.5 update via OTA. And if you are not on the community build, you can sideload the update using adb sideload.
Since this is a community build, you are bound to run into some bugs and issues. Do make sure to report them so that they are addressed in the next release of the OS.
