The OnePlus 2 is still a couple of weeks away from its official unveiling, but the hype train surrounding it is already in full effect. While OnePlus has revealed most of the key features of the device, it has been mum about the camera specifications of the device.

Thanks to MKBHD  though, we now have some details about the OnePlus 2 camera and its performance. The YouTube star received a OnePlus 2 review unit a few days back from the company and decided to put the camera on it through its paces. He reveals in his review that the OnePlus 2 will be coming with a 13MP rear camera with an F/2.0 aperture along with a LaserAF sensor for quick auto focus.

As for the camera performance, MKBHD found in his testing that while the camera on the OnePlus 2 has improved from its predecessor, it is still a step or two below the likes of the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

You can check out his review of the OnePlus 2 camera below.

Some unedited original samples shot from the OnePlus 2 can be found here.

Keep in mind that the camera review has been conducted by MKBHD with the very first version of the camera software from OnePlus. It is likely that the company will be making some improvements to their processing before the official unveiling of the device.

What do you think about the OnePlus 2 camera performance based on MKBHD‘s review and the camera samples uploaded by him?
