Three weeks after it launched the Nexus 5 on the Play Store in the United States, United Kingdom and a bunch of other countries, Google has extended the availability of the handset to two other regions – India and Hong Kong.
The Nexus 5 won’t go on sale alone, and will be accompanied by the new Nexus 7 (2013) as well. The prices for both the devices in the respective Play Stores is not as cheap as it is on the US Play Store.

Blame taxes, shipping and customs for the additional increase in prices though.
Google is also selling some accessories for both the devices in the Indian and Hong Kong Play Store. This includes a sleeve cover for the Nexus 7, and a bumper and quick cover for the Nexus 5. The accessories are extremely over priced though, with the quick cover for the Nexus 5 costing Rs. 2,499 in the Indian Play Store.
The devices start shipping either today or within 1-2 days, but with the demand being extremely high, it is very much possible that the shipping times will slip soon.
