The Google Glass project may not be in the lime light as much anymore, but it is certainly not dead. Now, those fans of the wearable unit could have something to look forward to.

According to a report published recently by the Wall Street Journal, and citing the CEO of Luxottica, Massimo Vian, a new version of Google Glass is going to be showcased “soon.” What that might look like, and what features it might have is still unknown, though, as the CEO wasn’t able to provide any other details regarding the wearable unit.

As for Luxottica, the company owns popular sunglass brands like Oakley and Ray-Ban, so the CEO being aware of an incoming Glass refresh is certainly interesting.
