Motorola today announced that it will be offering a $100 discount on the 2014 Moto X or the Motorola Whisper to owners of Atrix HD.

Motorola had stated in 2013 that it will be bringing KitKat to the Atrix HD sometime in 2014, but it was not able to live up to its word. To make up for it, the company is offering Atrix HD owners a $100 discount on the Moto X or the Motorola Whisper. The former retails for $399 (16GB), but thanks to the $100 discount, Atrix HD users will be able to buy it for $299. The 32GB variant of the Moto X — which retails for $499 — will also be available at a $100 discount.

The Whisper, on the other hand, is a low-end device that retails for $149, but can be had for only $49 thanks to this promotion.

To be eligible for the discount, you must have purchased your Atrix HD for use on AT&T network in the United States. The offer is not valid for the developer edition of the handset though. The offer runs through June 30, 2015, so make to apply for your $100 discount coupon code by then.
