As promised, Motorola started offering the Moto X with a variety of custom wood backs. The handset maker recently made the bamboo option available and now it has added teak, ebony and walnut to the lineup. The four wood options can be added to a Moto X phone using the Moto Maker customizer tool. The time from order to shipment for these wood options is the same for the other customizations. It’ll take about three days for the manufacturer to assemble and ship the device. The wood option adds $25 onto the price of the handset, bringing the cost of the phone up to $100 with a two-year contract or $425 off-contract. Do you plan on getting a Moto X now that it is available in wood?
