Verizon Motorola DROID Turbo blue

It’s been a few months since Verizon and Motorola launched the DROID Turbo, and now Verizon has seen fit to release a brand new color scheme.

The brand new option, the Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon body, gets added to the lengthy list of color options for the DROID Turbo. At launch, the powerful smartphone featured a Black Ballistic Nylon body, along with Metallic Red and Metallic Black. The blue option is certainly eye catching, though, even if it does appear to be a bit dark. It’s available now starting at $199 on a new, two-year contract, or 24 monthly payments of $24.99 on Verizon’s Edge plan. Buying it outright means forking over $599.99.

The new blue DROID Turbo features the same 5.2-inch 2560×1440 display, with the same 21-megapixel camera on the back and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz under the hood. The battery measures in at 3900mAh and it’s got 3GB of RAM.

If you didn’t pick up a DROID Turbo yet, will the blue option sway your decision?
