Indian retailer Flipkart recently teased the arrival of the Moto X in the country, and now it has confirmed that the phone will be made available for purchase on March 19th. It has been priced at Rs. 23,999 (in line with the $399 price tag in the U.S.) for the standard variant, and Rs. 25,999 for the wood back versions.

Like the Moto G, the Moto X will be sold exclusively by Flipkart in 16GB flavor. The phone will retail in black, white, Royal Blue, Cherry, and Turquoise color options, and Walnut and Teak wooden backings. Initially, only the black and white models will be made available – the other color versions will go up for pre-order tomorrow, but will start shipping in the second week of April. Flipkart has also announced launch day offers – these include the option to buy the phone in cash installments of Rs. 1000 per month, 70 percent discount on the phone’s cases, and the chance to get 100 percent cashback.

As a refresher, the Moto X sports a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Motorola’s custom X8 chipset that includes two 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 cores and Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, a 10-megapixel camera, and a 2,100 mAh battery. Features like always-on voice controls and Active Display notifications make it stand out in the software department; it will likely run on Android 4.2.2 out of the box, but an update to KitKat should be made available soon after launch, as was the case with the Moto G.
