Last year, with the Moto Maker, Motorola gave users the choice to personalize their phones to their liking. In the past, no company had ever given consumers the option to truly personalize their phones like this. The wooden backings, which were introduced nearly four months later after the Moto X launched, is another highlight of Moto Maker.

Now, it looks like Motorola is all set to give consumers more options to truly personalize their device by offering leather backs as an option as this tweet from @evleaks suggests. Up until now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been the only notable device to use a faux leather back.

Motorola launched the Moto Maker with the release of Moto X last year. However, the service has only been available in the United States until now, which has severely limited its reach. Hopefully, the company also plans on expanding the reach of Moto Maker this time around with the release of Moto X +1.
