After months of speculation regarding the follow-up to Motorola’s popular Moto 360 wearable, the second-generation smartwatch is now official.

Motorola today officially announced the Moto 360 (2nd Gen.), and showcased the changes on board. Namely, the physical button on the side of the watch’s casing is now positioned at the 2 o’clock mark, instead of the 3 o’clock mark where it was located in the first generation model. The 2nd. Gen Moto 360 also features standard watch lugs, which should make swapping out bands easier than ever before.

The new Moto 360 will feature several different cases, including metallic black, several gold options, and a chrome variant as well. The bands will be plentiful, with some metal link bands to match the casings, and a plethora of leather options as well. Of course, switching out bands for your own options is also a possibility, too.

The “flat tire” on the circular display is still present.

Motorola also officially unveiled the Moto 360 Sport, but details on that wearable are light, and Motorola says there will be more to learn in the coming months.

The new Moto 360 starts at $299 and goes up to $499 depending on the variant you choose. It can be pre-ordered right now from Motorola.com, as well as Best Buy and the Google Store. It will officially go on sale later this month.
