LG is all set to unveil its next flagship handset, the V30, in just over a week from now. Most of the details about the V30 has already leaked, and today, we get to feast our eyes on another set of press renders of the device.

The press renders of the V30 show it coming with a design that is very similar to that of the Samsung’s Galaxy S8 series from the rear. Unlike Samsung though, LG has placed the fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device at a more ergonomic friendly location. The glass panel at the rear also ensures that the V30 will offer wireless charging.

From the front, the press renders gives us a look at the V30’s FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio P-OLED display. Unlike the G6, LG will be making use of its own OLED display on the V30. While the display on the G6 was not bad by any means, it could not hold its own against Samsung’s excellent OLED panels used on the S8 and S8+. By switching to its own OLED panels, LG is hoping to close the gap in display quality with Samsung’s flagship phones. Oh, and if you are wondering where the signature Second Screen of the V-series is on the V30? Well, its gone for good. LG has instead replaced it with a floating bar.

Almost every key information about the LG V30 has already leaked. The handset will come with a 6-inch OLED display, a SNapdragon 835 chipset, 4/6GB RAM, 64GB storage, microSD card slot, and a dual-camera setup at the rear with the primary sensor featuring an f/1.6 aperture and OIS. Similar to previous LG devices, the V30 will feature excellent audio quality thanks to an even improved quad-DAC. LG has also collaborated with B&O Play this time around to tweak the audio quality of the V30.

LG is set to unveil the V30 on August 31st at IFA in Berlin. Are you looking forward to the handset’s unveiling?
