LG only had a variant of the V30 to announce at this year’s Mobile World Congress, but the company actually brought with it at least one variant of the G7 that it wasn’t really ready to talk about.

But we may see the G7 sooner, rather than later, if a new report from ETNews is to be believed. According to the publication, the Life’s Good crew is currently planning on unveiling its early year flagship smartphone in April, at a press event for the handset, and then launching it in South Korea in May. Unfortunately, there is no word on when LG would then launch it in other international markets.

As far as rumored pricing goes, the report points to LG charging around $800 for the G7, which would be a price hike compared to the G6 from last year, but still not as expensive as the leading competing smartphones from the likes of Samsung or Apple.

Meanwhile, the LG V40, the successor to the V30, might not arrive until November, which would be a month later than the lineup has usually launched. That wouldn’t be too surprising, considering LG has already confirmed it wants to move away from the yearly refresh cycle.
