LG G3 Front

As if we needed more leaks to tell us about the LG G3, a new one has just surfaced. Coming from GSM Arena as an exclusive, the image shows the smartphone in gold and reveals all attributes that we’ve seen in previous leaks over the course of the past weeks.

According to some insider sources, much of the emphasis on the software will be targeted towards the camera of the smartphone with voice triggered commands. Saying something like “cheese”, “whisky” or “chica” could open the camera app, which is a nifty feature to have.

It is said that twisting your finger (?!) or clapping your hands will be a gesture to launch the front facing camera for those urgent selfies [Ed note: that could very well be in line with the Gesture Palm Selfie feature we heard about earlier]. And that mysterious opening next to the camera sensor is reportedly some sort of a laser for better night time images — this is something we’re particularly curious to see.

It is said that the smartphone will come with IPX7 certification to provide ample amount of protection from water and dust, which is certainly a good addition. The front bezels are relatively narrow as well, which was expected.

Other rumored features of the LG G3 include a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot and a 3,000 mAh battery. The UI is reportedly going to be flat, which has been revealed by previous leaks. We also just saw the isai FL launching in Japan featuring an almost identical specs sheet, so we have a gist of what’s to come from LG.

So who’s excited for the LG G3 now?
