LG confirms that their May 1st event in New York is all about the Optimus G Pro

When LG said they were going to throw a party in New York City on the first of May, everyone, myself included, thought it would have something to do with the company’s newest flagship phone, the Optimus G Pro. According to the image above, which is a photo of an invitation to the event, there’s now 100% confirmation that the G Pro is bound for the USA.

Which operator will carry it? Probably AT&T, but don’t quote me on that. How much is it going to cost? Likely $199 with a two year contract. Should you buy the G Pro? If you want a 5.5 inch 1080p screen, and can stand the fact that LG’s user interface is a direct clone of Samsung’s work, then knock yourself out.

Speaking about Samsung, the GS4 launch is less than a week away. Do yourself a favor and wait.
