Not to be left behind in giving some of its lucky customers a taste of Android Nougat, LG has also announced a preview program for LG G5 owners. The preview program from the company will provide 2,000 lucky G5 owners in South Korea a chance to beta test the upcoming Nougat update for the handset.

The final criteria to be selected into the program is that you must be a subscriber of LG U+. Provided you fulfill the two conditions and are among the 2,000 folks lucky enough to be selected into the program, you can test drive Nougat on your G5 before its public release.

The preview program will work on a first-come, first-served basis, and requires interested participants to download the “LG OS Preview” app from the Google Play Store and then follow the steps mentioned there.

LG will also be taking active feedback from the preview program members and incorporate some of their feedback into the final update as well.

Now, while LG has not announced a similar preview program for other markets of the world, it is possible that we will see the Korean company announce a similar program for the United States and European region.
