Ahead of its unveiling next month, @evleaks has leaked a press render of the LG G7 ThinQ. The render gives us a clear look at the front of the device, including the notch at the top of the display.

Apart from the notch display design, the LG G7 will feature a small bezel at its bottom similar to other Android devices out there. The right edge of the handset houses the power button, with the volume buttons and the rumored dedicated AI button presumably located on the left.

The power button on the left means that LG will not be integrating the button into the fingerprint scanner like it did with its previous flagship handsets. A previously leaked render of the handset had already revealed that it will come with a fingerprint scanner at its rear and a multitude of colors.

Rumors point to the LG G7 coming with an MLCD+ display which will be capable of reaching high brightness level whilst consuming 35 percent less power than regular LCD panels. The handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chip, feature 6GB RAM along with 64/128GB of storage. The dual-camera setup at the rear will include a primary 12MP sensor with a f/1.5 aperture.

The device will also come with LG’s ThinQ assistant which has found its way into its other consumer electronic products as well. The new version of ThinQ on the LG G7 will allow it to communicate with other devices featuring ThinQ which is perhaps why LG will even be including a dedicated AI button on the handset. Let’s at least hope that unlike Samsung, LG also allows users to customize the functionality of this button.

Are you looking forward to the LG G7 ThinQ unveiling next month? Or have you given up on the company’s smartphone offerings completely?
