iOS users get to exclusively enjoy a lot of games before they arrive on Google’s mobile platform, and the most recent title to grab their attention has been Monument Valley, a critically acclaimed game that has been said to be both beautiful and extremely hard to beat. Today, its month-long iOS exclusivity is coming to an end, as it has finally arrived on Android. 

So what is Monument Valley all about? According to the official description, your task is to guide princess Ida through impossible architecture, while “uncovering hidden paths, unfolding optical illusions and outsmarting the enigmatic Crow People.” However, what has got everyone raving about it is apparently a combination of breathtaking visuals, hard-to-solve puzzles, and impressive music, making the experience akin to “watching a film or an afternoon in a museum”.

Of course, it’s better to experience such a game firsthand, so go ahead and download it from Google Play. You’ll need to shell out $3.99 for what is said to be a short game, but there are no in-app purchases to be had, which should make up for any flaws that it might have.
