Samsung’s 2013 flagship smartphone has a 5 inch screen. HTC’s has a 4.7 inch screen. There are rumors that say HTC will make a larger version of the One, but what about all the people out there, myself included, who want an oversized phone?

According to @evleaks, the anonymous Twitter user who seems to know everything before everyone else, HTC’s upcoming phablet is codenamed “T6”. That’s all that he (or she!) can tell us right now. Looking at the codename itself, could the 6 mean HTC is working on a 6 inch device? I wouldn’t be surprised. We’ve been hearing rumors that the Galaxy Note III will come with a display that’s either 5.9 inches or 6.0 inches diagonal. There’s also a rumor about a 6.44 inch Sony phablet. And let’s not ignore Huawei, who is already selling the 6.1 inch Ascend Mate.

I’ll be the first to admit, jumping from a 3.5 inch iPhone 4 to a 5.5 inch Galaxy Note II earlier this year wasn’t easy for me, but I have very few regrets. My girlfriend hates that I spend an ungodly amount of time watching videos on my smartphone now, but that’s another story for another day.
