Google is making Keep, its note taking service even better today, by introducing some minor new features to it. Firstly, now when you paste a link in Keep, you will get a small preview of it to make sure that you have copy-pasted the right link. The preview will also show up even in the main notes list, thereby allowing you to access the link without having to open the note.

Keep will now also automatically prevent you from adding duplicates in a list, while also providing you with grocery autocompletes. The grocery autocomplete feature is context specific, so it will show suggestions based on the items already present in the list.

There are some minor UI changes also thrown in to the Android app with this update that make the app better adhere to the Material Design guidelines.

And in case you are trying to add an item to a list that was already present before or was ticked off, Keep will show the item with a tick beside its name to remind you of it.

Google has been constantly updating Keep with new and relevant features. Back in April, the company gave the Chrome extension of the app a huge makeover, added Hashtags support to it, and further improved the interface of the app.

How happy are you with Keep?
