Galaxy K Zoom The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom has just gone up for pre order in the UK. This smartphone/camera hybrid will reportedly start shipping to customers starting May 29, so you will have to wait for a week to get the device in your hand if you place an order. Samsung has priced the device at £400 (equivalent to $676), but we expect it to go down once it becomes freely available in the market. The company is heavily endorsing the Galaxy K Zoom all over the world with a new ad recently showing us what to expect from the device’s camera.

As a reminder, the K Zoom comes with a 4.8 inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a 20.7-megapixel camera along with a dedicated Xenon flash, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, an Exynos 5260 hexa-core chipset as well as a 2,430 mAh battery. For more information about it, you can check the round-up of hands-on videos that we handily picked for you earlier.

The Galaxy K Zoom is sure to excite shutterbugs thanks to the very capable hardware on board along with the plethora of software features added by Samsung to aid picture post-processing. While the pricing is a bit on the steep side, it’s certainly one of the higher-end devices to come out of the company’s sheds this year.

Update: Samsung UK has a promo code that you can use to get 10% off your purchase when you spend £50 or more. Their EStore page mentions that you can use the promotional code NPR-14G-QKY-WSZ to get the offer.
