The Droid Turbo from Motorola and Verizon has been getting quite a bit of attention since the end of September, and now that the DroidDoes website has relaunched, we know why.

While it was always believed the Droid Turbo would be launching before the end of 2014, ever since it first started cropping up out of the Rumor Mill, Verizon’s official DroidDoes teaser site has relaunched with a countdown indicating the newest Droid-branded family member will launch in thirteen days and a few hours, marking October 28 as the official launch date.

Underneath the countdown there’s a line, “Launch date set. All will be revealed.” Above the timer, there’s a silhouetted image of what the Droid Turbo will more than likely end up being when it gets officially revealed later in the month. As one can imagine, it looks exactly like the device we’ve seen several times now, including through a leaked image of the user manual for the upcoming handset.

In the recent days, several different reports have surfaced around the Droid Turbo, including one that stated the new smartphone will boast a battery measured in at 3900mAh. On October 11, an official image from Verizon found its way online, showcasing the upcoming handset in a red shell. Before that, in late September, the device was caught on camera in the real world.

Do you plan on picking up the Droid Turbo when it launches later this year?
