AT&T has just announced that it will start accepting pre-orders for the Nexus 6 from tomorrow (i.e. 12th November) through its website and retail stores. However, it will only be selling the Midnight Blue variant of the handset for now.

The carrier will be offering the Nexus 6 for $249.99 on a two-year agreement.  The device will also be available for purchase via AT&T’s Next 24, Next 18 and Next 12 plans with a $0 down payment. Under the Next 24 plan, you will be required to pay $22.77 per month for 30 month while you will be paying AT&T $28.46 or $34.15 per month under the other two Next plans.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Motorola and AT&T to introduce customers nationwide to Nexus 6 with Android 5.0, Lollipop, Google’s biggest software release yet,” said Hiroshi Lockheimer, VP, Engineering for Android.

In case you want to purchase the handset outright from AT&T, you will have to pay the carrier $682.99, which is slightly higher than its Play Store price of $649. The carrier will also be offering $50 discount on the Moto 360, Hint or Moto Silver II to all Nexus 6 buyers who purchase the handset with a new line of service and use any of its Next plans.

Oddly, the press release does not mention a specific release date as to when the pre-orders will ship and the handset will be available in AT&T’s retail stores.
