Besides the ZenFone 2 Laser and the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, Asus also launched the ZenFone Selfie and ZenFone Max in India today.

The ZenFone Selfie — as its name suggests — is targeted towards selfie lovers in India. The handset has a design language that is similar to its other ZenFone 2 siblings, with some minor tweaks. The highlight of the phone, however, is the 13MP snapper located on the rear as well as the front. The rear shooter is also aided by a dual LED flash and a laser autofocus sensor.

Under the hood, the handset comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 3GB RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4, 16/32GB of internal storage, dual-SIM, LTE connectivity, and a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the handset will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new version of the company’s Zen UI on top of it.

The Asus ZenFone Selfie will be available in Pure White, Chic Pink, and Aqua Blue colors for Rs. 15,999 in India.

The company also unveiled the ZenFone Max at its event in Delhi, India today. The handset comes with a gigantic 5,000mAh battery which has to power a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 410 chipset and 2GB RAM. Impressively, despite coming with such a huge battery, the ZenFone Max is only 5.2mm thin.

There is also a 13MP f/2.0 camera on the rear of the phone aided by an dual-LED flash. The ZenFone Max is also capable of acting as a power bank and charging other devices when they run out of juice. The handset will be launched in the country sometime in October this year.
