As was rumored, ay Music is finally launching a family plan. For $14.99 you can join a group of up to six people across the same subscription.

This matches the offer from Apple Music, which is set to launch on Android soon. The plan bests Spotify’s offerings, which are more expensive than Apple’s family plans. A Spotify family plan ranges between $14.99 $29.99, depending on the number of users.

says the recommendations personalizations that ay Music offers will be customized to each account, so no one has to get annoyed with the musical choices from another family member. 

The family plan will be available “later this year,” so we’ll watch out for when it arrives.
