Apple today released its first Android app on the Google Play Store: Move to iOS. As the name suggests, the app allows an Android user to easily transfer their content to their new iOS device.

The app will be easily able to transfer your important data, including contacts, messages, photos, videos, bookmarks, mail accounts, and calendars to your new iPhone or iPad. The app creates a private Wi-Fi network to quickly and easily transfer data between the two devices.

To start the transfer process, you will need to enter a code that is being displayed on your iOS device first.

The app supports all Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.

Apple had first talked about its Move to iOS app at WWDC while unveiling iOS 9. The company released the final public version of iOS 9 to consumers earlier today.
