Google has released a new app and web service to help businesses update their information on its services, as well as interact with customers. The aptly-named Google My Business hooks into Search, Maps, Google+, and AdWords to track and manage your business's online image.
In a nutshell, Google My Business provides one interface to sevearl Google services to make managing your online business presence easier. The app is just a convenience, giving business owners a single place to manage the info they currently to have to update separately in each of Google's services.
Online visibility and customer interaction is important, so unsurprisingly, My Business provides a way to track engagement through profile and photo views, and reviews. Other features for Google My Business include the ability to respond directly to reviews on the fly, as well as in-app sharing to a business's Google+ page.
Google My Business is now available for Android users in the Google Play Store, with the iOS version on the way soon.
