Online shopping is such a tease, and it's especially terrible when you're eagerly awaiting that One Special Thing to come to your door. My favorite thing to do is to track it online to see where it's headed, so I may prepare myself for its eventual arrival.
Google updated its Wallet mobile app for both Android and iOS with this exact kind of functionality. Now you can track all of your online orders, regardless of the service you used.
Google said it's working with primary package carriers in the US to notify you of a package's whereabouts through the Wallet app. You can check to see when your order has shipped, when it's out for delivery, or whether it's delayed.
The update is available in the US only for now, for Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich and above and iOS devices running iOS 6 and above. If you simply can't wait for the update to hit your devices, you can install it manually from the Google Play Store or iTunes App Store.
