ZTE launched a Kickstarter project for a brand new smartphone, codenamed “Project CSX” two weeks ago.

ZTE had already announced a few different aspects of the device, including a “sticky case,” and eye-tracking, but the under-the-hood details were kept a secret at the time. The company has finally lifted the curtain, though, and has updated the Kickstarter page to reflect what kind of specifications future owners should expect to find.

That includes a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and dual SIM slots. There is 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot to expand that storage. There’s USB Type-C on board, a fingerprint reader, NFC support, and the battery is measured in at 3000mAh.

It will be running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The cameras will be a focal point for the handset, too. The front-facing camera is an 8MP shooter, while there will be a pair of cameras on the back. The first is a 13-megapixel camera, while the other is a 12MP shooter with optical zoom.

Interestingly, the Hawkeye still has quite a few days to go before the Kickstarter project ends, and ZTE says the handset will launch to backers sometime in September of this year. At the time of publication of this article, ZTE’s Kickstarter has 158 backers, and it has raised $30,457 of the total $500,000 it is seeking. There are 32 days to go.
