Sony is going to hold an event in Berlin on September 4th where it’s widely believed that they’ll announce the Xperia “Honami”. More recently, leaks have suggested that it’s going to be called the Xperia i1. Now, thanks to ePrice, there’s a spec sheet, and boy is it glorious.

Let’s start with the screen: 5 inches, 1080p resolution, same Triluminos technology that’s in the Z Ultra. Sony has had a rocky past with their smartphone screens, so I’m genuinely hoping this one doesn’t suck.

Next, the guts: Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, crazy large 3,000 mAh battery, and of course 4G LTE.

And finally, the pièce de résistance, the camera: 20.7 megapixel sensor that’s 1/2.3″ in size and paired with a professional Sony G-Lens. In other words, this thing has a sensor that’s the same size as the one in Samsung’s original Galaxy Camera, but it’s shrunken down to fit in a sub 8.5 millimeter thick device.

Add all that up and I think, on paper, this thing is likely going to be the best Android phone of 2013.
