Taking inspiration from iOS 7, HTC has included a Do Not Disturb mode on the HTC One M8 and Sense 6. The feature, in fact, was introduced on the One M7 last year with the Sense 5.5 update. However, HTC has refined it further in Sense 6.

Read below to know more about the Do Not Disturb mode on the HTC One M8 and how to enable it.

What is it?

By default, enabling Do Not Disturb mode will mute all your incoming calls, notification and sound completely. It will also disable the LED notification light.

HTC provides users with a certain degree of customization and allows them to set a schedule time during which the DND mode will be automatically activated. Users can also specify contacts whose call will bypass the DND mode.

Apart from this, HTC also allows users to set a timer after which the Do Not Disturb mode will automatically turn itself on. If needed, uses can also disable the notification sound of alarm and timer in case they are in a meeting.

How to enable it?

Head over to Settings -> Sound and tap the Do Not Disturb option. Here, users can find all the options and settings mentioned above. After customizing the mode to their liking, simply toggle the switch on the top right to On position to activate the mode.

While there are a few hundred apps on the Play Store that can imitate the Do Not Disturb functionality, it is always nice to have this feature baked in.
