T-Mobile has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge that improves the overall device performance and battery life. The change log of the update also suggests that the broken slow motion video recording issue on the Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy S7 has also been fixed in this update.

Early reports indicate that touch sensitivity issues and poor scrolling performance that many Galaxy S7 edge users were facing have also been fixed in this 200MB update.

Galaxy S7 on T-Mobile software update

Snapdragon variants of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge have showed significantly inferior battery life than the handset’s Exynos version, which this update should likely address.

It is likely that Samsung and other carriers will roll out a similar update for their variants of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge this month.

Have you received the update on your T-Mobile Galaxy S7? If yes, have you noticed any other improvements or changes introduced in it?
