Earlier today, Sony announced that its X series of devices would be landing in the United States. And now there’s a new E series handset on the horizon, too.

Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t have any information on specific launch dates for the E5, or where it might end up, but the company’s announcing the device anyway. As far as features go, it boasts a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and it has 16GB of built-in storage.

It also has a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 200GB, it’s running Android 6.0 out of the box, and Sony says the 2700mAh battery can last up to two days on a single charge.

On the back, there’s a 13-megapixel camera and on the front a 5MP shooter.

The Xperia E5 is clearly a mid-range handset, and the price will probably reflect that, but Sony’s not announcing anything in that regard just yet.
