Samsung Galaxy S7 rear leaks

We have already seen the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge front leak in press renders and now once again thanks to @evleaks, we get to have our first look at the rear of the device.

Like the front of the device, the rear of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge also look identical to their predecessors. However, taking a cue out of the Galaxy Note 5, Samsung seems to have curved the rear edges of the device, which will likely help in improving its ergonomics and prevent the phone from easily slipping from one’s hand.

Aside from this minor change, it seems that it will be tough to find any other difference in the rear design of the Galaxy S7 and and the Galaxy S6.

As a leak had pointed out previously, Samsung plans on selling the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with a black chassis to give it a premium look and feel, which matches up perfectly with the color of the handset in the render.

Samsung has already sent out invites for its ‘Unpacked’ event on February 21 where it will be unveiling the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The handsets are expected to be available in a Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 variant. They will also feature 4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage space, a microSD card slot, fast charging and a 12MP rear camera that has been optimised for low-light performance.

What do you think about the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge based on the latest leak?
