A new report coming out of Korea citing an official Samsung employee claims to have revealed the complete specs of the Galaxy S7. Now, just like any other leak, it is not possible to verify the credibility of the source, but it matches up perfectly with what we have heard through previous leaks and rumors.

The Samsung employee claims that to give the Galaxy S7 a premium look, the company will be launching all variants of the handset with a black chassis.

In addition, the employee claims that Samsung will be heavily marketing the low-light camera prowess of the Galaxy S7, which will be achieved thanks to its combination of an f/1.7 aperture and a larger 12MP camera sensor with bigger pixels. Samsung has also worked towards improving the lens quality to further improve image quality. Despite having larger individual pixels, the Galaxy S7 will not feature a camera hump at its rear.

The employee also confirms that the Galaxy S7 will come with a microSD card slot, and interestingly, water and dust resistant capabilities. With metallic chassis and premium build quality becoming a commonplace among smartphones now, having water and dust resistant capabilities will give the Galaxy S7 a unique advantage over the likes of the iPhone 6s and other high-end Android flagships.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S7 at a press conference in Mobile World Congress at Barcelona next month.
