Galaxy-Note5-S6-edgePlus-renders

Old habits die hard. Case in point here being @evleaks who despite having retired from the smartphone leaking business, today leaked the press renders of the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus, along with the full specs of the former.

We have already seen the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus in leaked photos before, so the press renders don’t particularly reveal anything new. The Note 5’s press render does give us a clear look at the S Pen that will be accompanying the handset, which has remained hidden from prying cameras until now.

As for the specs, @evleaks says that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a 5.66″ Quad HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset, 4GB RAM, a 16MP rear camera, 32GB of storage space, and no microSD card slot. This matches up with previous rumours about the device, except for the processor, which was rumored to be an Exynos 7422. Samsung is already using the Exynos 7420 chipset inside the Galaxy S6, so it will be an odd move for the company to use the same chipset inside its flagship phablet.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 edge Plus is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB RAM, a 3,000Ah camera, a 5.7-inch Quad HD display that is curved on both sides, and the same camera setup as the Galaxy S6.

With the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus scheduled to be unveiled on August 11th, it is only a matter of days now before we get to know the full specs and feature set of these handsets.
