LG’s latest flagship phone, the G2, is already out in South Korea. It has a gorgeous 5.2 inch 1080p LCD, Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, an optically stabilized 13 megapixel camera, and buttons on the back of the phone instead of the sides. Like every new phone, the big question for most Americans is when will it come to their respective operators?

According to Android Central, it’ll be short wait. They say Verizon will be the first to get the G2, with a launch pegged for September 12th. One day later, on the 13th, AT&T will also get the device. They weren’t able to get any information for Sprint or T-Mobile, but LG themselves have confirmed that both those operators will also get the device.

So should you buy it? Obviously wait for the reviews. Now that being said, by the time September 12th rolls around, we’ll know everything there is to know about three other new and exciting smartphones. There’s the Galaxy Note III, which will have the same Snapdragon 800 chip, rumored 13 megapixel OIS camera, and a 5.68 inch 1080p screen. There will be Sony’s Xperia Z1, same Snapdragon 800 chip, but an even more insane 20 megapixel camera.

And of course the iPhone 5S, which most of you probably don’t even consider as an option.
