OnePlus has been constantly teasing consumers with the specs and features of its upcoming handset — the OnePlus One. It has already revealed nearly all the specs of the handset which includes a 13MP 6-lens camera, Snapdragon S801, a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a 3100mAh non-removable battery. However, up until now, apart from the hype, not much has been known about the handset’s look or its UI.

That changes today, thanks to a couple of screenshots of the OnePlus One OS that the folks over at Engadget received from a reliable tipster. The leaked screenshots show a lockscreen that looks very different from stock Android but still has a very flat and simple look to it. The second screenshot is from the About Phone section that confirms that the handset will be running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat when released.

The tipster also revealed that the OnePlus One would be running a customised version of CyanogenMod 11 — dubbed “CyanogenMod 11S” — and will include quite a few customisations from OnePlus.

OnePlus One will be officially revealed on April 23rd, when all the mysteries surrounding the handset should be cleared.
