For a relatively new mobile startup, the OnePlus One sports an impressive spec sheet and an even impressive price tag. While no one knows how the actual handset will look, the hype around it is pretty high, all thanks to the company slowly but steadily revealing key information about it.
Even before announcing any major specification of their handset, OnePlus had announced that it will be selling it for only $400. Today, the company took to Twitter to reveal that it will in fact be offering the OnePlus One in Europe for under 350€ (roughly $480). This is the same price point at which Google offers the Nexus 5 in most of the European regions.
OnePlus is yet to announce the markets where it plans on releasing its handset, except for Europe and China. It is also yet to confirm if it will be selling it via retail stores or only via an online web store.
The OnePlus One will come with a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13MP 6-lens camera with F/2.0 aperture, a 3100mAh non-removable battery and a 5.5-inch 1080p panel inside a body that is less than the size of an Xperia Z1 and will be running on CyanogenMod 11S. The company is scheduled to unveil the One on April 23.
