Motorola has finally updated the E-series with Moto E6. The sixth-generation budget offering from Motorola is priced at $149. The Moto E6 is available in Starry Black and Navy Blue colors.

The Motorola E6 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD+ display and offers an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 coupled with 2GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the graphics is taken care of by Adreno 505 GPU. On the storage front, the Moto E6 offers 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (expandable up to 256GB).

Camera options include a single 13-megapixel rear camera setup with LED flash. Furthermore, the front camera shapes up in the form of a 5-megapixel sensor with f2.0. The Moto E6 runs on Android Pie and features a 3.5mm headphone jack. Backing the device is a 3,000mAh battery pack.

Typically E-Series phones are no-frills and Moto E6 is no different. Designwise the device looks bland and the thick bezels don’t help either. Motorola’s latest affordable smartphone misses out on several features like FHD display, fingerprint sensor, bland design, and a small battery. Strangely enough, Motorola has decreased battery capacity from 4000mAh on Moto E5 to 3000mAh on Moto E6. On the brighter side, the Moto E6 comes with water repellent design, a feature that might save your phone on a rainy day.

All said and done, the Moto E6 just seems to make the cut as far as entry-level phones are concerned. The Moto E6 is available from Verizon for $149 and will soon be introduced to T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S Cellular, Consumer Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile.
